Location is amazing. 10/10. The units could use AC and some upgrades. Overall, a nice, solid choice. With some updates and small additions, it could be vastly improved.

The address listed in Airbnb does not match the address on the side of the building. The external photos look like the place; the internal photos look much nicer than unit actually is. Bathrooms were not in good shape. Beds were not comfortable. Overall the interior is reminiscent of a 1960's army barracks. We couldn't bear to stay the second of our two nights and left after only one night for a hotel in Christchurch. Although the lake is beautiful, like every lake in NZ, the nearby town is an overrun tourist trap.

The property is a stone's throw away from the beautiful lake. Waking up to a beautiful view will definitely make your day. The place is of perfect quality, very warm inside. I don't need to open the heater. Highly recommended! Host responds promptly, very friendly and accommodating. Will come back here again!
