This is the second summer we have stayed at Windy Pines, and we love it just as much as the first time. We really enjoyed the addition of the sauna this year! Beautiful home, incredible views. So looking forward to visiting again!

Krista was a fantastic host who was always quick to respond, and keep us up to date with the local surroundings. The amenities of this cottage are enough to never think about leaving. The lot is quiet, peaceful and beautiful no matter the weather, rain or shine. Whether it was paddle boarding, going in for a swim after the sauna, or soaking in the hot tub, or the beautiful patio this place offers a multitude of spots to find relaxation. I would suggest any guests to bring water shoes to further maximize the enjoyment of the coast! This was a trip to remember that left us wishing we stayed longer! 5/5 from a wide range of ages for both older adults, young adults, or well-behaved furry friends.

Amazing views and finely appointed home. Family really enjoyed our time. Hosts are super responsive with a welcome gift as well which we enjoyed after our drive.

Fantastic cottage! As everyone says, Windy Pines is beautiful with an amazing location. Krista and Mark are very welcoming, responsive, and friendly. The layout of the property is great--multiple decks, so there's always options for both the sun and shade, great outdoor dining/sitting area, and sauna facing the sunset. The cottage is extremely well-stocked, with lots of games, toys, watersports gear (pool noodles, paddleboards, kayaks), and everything you would need in the kitchen. The linens are very nice and the beds were very comfortable. The swimming is fantastic. Beautifully clear water and an easy entrance. The beach is stony, and the stones are fairly slippery at the shoreline, so watershoes are a good idea. But they're not at all sharp, so those of us who don't like swimming with watershoes are fine just entering carefully. Once you're in, the boulders stop after about 15-20 feet, and you're on large flat shelves of rock that start shallow enough for kids to touch.

Visited Windy Pines for a week. It was a 3-generations vacation with my parents and my children and we couldn’t have asked for a better week together. The property, view, amenities, abs hosts are second to none. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway within a short drive to hikes, beaches, and other great destinations, this is it. Thanks, Krista and Mark for being excellent hosts.
