First of all, this place is difficult to reach. There are several dirt tracks leading to this house, one more winding, steep and difficult than the other. And even if your car makes it to the house, there is a bump in the driveway at the gate of the house that will damage the underside of your car. Ruralidays wont tell you that you need a 4x4 or at least a car with high suspension unless you want to risk damaging your car or even worse - getting stuck in a rural dirtroad in the middle of the night. And even if you do get a 4x4, getting to and from the house is an 'driving adventure' everytime, so better remember everything you'll need at the supermarket. The house is beautifully located facing the sunset with breathtaking view of the city and ocean where you can see miles and miles of land and mountain tops. The house itself is small. Really small. All rooms are connected with no doors. That's right - you enter the toilet through the bedroom and there's no door. So unless you are a couple beyond the phase where niether of you takes a dump, it's not that romantic having the place smell like poop before afternoon delight. The house is fairly new and tidy, new furniture and the pool is nice. However, it lacks shade on the terrace, so you'll fry in the sun or you can seek refuge in the AC of the small house. Remember however, (which Ruralidays doesn't tell you either) that you only get 100 KW of electricity -after that you pay for it. Be wary around noon - there is some sort of infestation which manifests itself in the middle of the day where the the whole is swarmed by small houseflies. Once you've sprayed them all and wiped them away, you're all good again until next noon. Another thing Ruralidays doesn't tell you is that you have to pay 250 euros in cash in deposit to the hosts, so remember that, so you dont. The physical hosts, however, are probably the nicest people you'll meet as they will help you with whatever you need or any trouble you'll get in in el camino (speaking from experience). Enjoy!
