La Pobla de Lillet is a municipality located to the north of the Berguedà region. La Pobla de Lillet is located in the Lillet Valley, at an altitude of about 843m and surrounded by the Cadí, Moixeró, Catllaràs and Falgars mountains, the Moreu mountain range, the Bruc rocks and the mountains de Meranges and the Rasos de Tubau.
In the municipality of La Pobla de Lillet we find the Artigas Gardens, designed by Antoni Gaudí at the beginning of the 20th century as a token of gratitude to the Artigas family for welcoming him into their home when he designed the Chalet de Catllaràs.
The Artigas Gardens are a perfect union between nature and architecture in the midst of life in constant movement provided by the Llobregat River, which crosses them in the middle.
We also find the Old Bridge, from the 14th century, in the middle of the town and as an emblematic element of the population it crosses the river from one side to the other. It is considered the oldest bridge that crosses the Llobregat river.
In the religious field we find the Monastery of Santa Maria de Lillet, in the Romanesque style and reformed on several occasions, the most notable being that of the 18th century. It has a square-shaped cloister and, near it, the chapel of San Miguel de Lillet. During the 20th century this building has suffered numerous losses, beginning with the Civil War, and the wear and tear of the passing of the years, but a good part of its remains are preserved.
La Pobla de Lillet also has the Falgàs Sanctuary where an image carved in alabaster from the 15th century and the cave where the Virgin was found are preserved. Very close to here is the Mirador Joan Casanova, from where you can contemplate fantastic views of Pedraforca and start several hiking trails.
In the church of Santa Maria de Lillet in La Pobla de Lillet we will see the Christ in Majesty from the 12th century and made of polychrome wood. And, the old quarter of the town, with its narrow cobbled streets, leaves us with evidence of a medieval past governed by the Mataplana barony, installed in the Castle of La Pobla de Lillet. It can be reached by following the path from the Monastery of Santa Maria de Lillet.
Currently, La Pobla de Lillet has recovered the old train station. So now it has a new tourist attraction that leads us to the Artigas Gardens and the old Asland cement factory and current Cement Museum.
The municipality of La Pobla de Lillet has a wide range of fountains, both inside - a dozen - and outside the town - more than twenty.

In La Pobla de Lillet there are several free car parks throughout the town.
In front of the town hall, there is a promenade where you can park and it is a 1 minute walk from the apartment, just cross the river by the small stone bridge.
In the village there is also the tourist train, which goes from the south station of the village, passing through the station of the center, followed by the stop at the Artigues gardens and ending at the stop of the cement museum.
