This cabin was so lovely! The location is amazing, check in is easy and the cabins are very cozy. We were in the upper level and sound definitely travels so plan on having a quiet chill night if you're going to stay here. Stevenson is a blast and the Gorge is stunning.

Highly recommend. Such a cute town and these accommodations were so comfortable. We loved being on the water. The train did not run often and was very quiet so don’t let that deter you. Our host Lisa was awesome at helping answer my questions before check, She even recommended so other hikes for us to check out. Highly recommend Beacon Rock (one of her recommendations). Also she was very responsive to anything we needed during our stay. This place is cozy, Quiet, and a great location. Must see!

Two stars.. one star for the stay and one star for front desk, Michelle, who helped us leave this very inaccurate and disappointing stay. Trying not to be harsh.. just honest. Yes, this is a gorgeous stay with gorgeous views but it was not relaxing in the slightest. For one, the cabin was so hot and had absolutely no air other than a squeaky fan and windows. The host claimed a train was “nearby” and you may be able to hear it pass. If you stay here.. please realize that you are practically ON a very loud and active train track. I am an incredibly heavy sleeper and I didn’t sleep a wink. The train is so active, coming by probably every 20-30 mins minimum. It’s so loud it shakes the cabin and there was still whistling despite it being a no whistle zone. My boyfriend slept with ear plugs and still woke up numerous times, tossing and turning because of the noise. Unfortunately with it being so hot we couldn’t shut the windows but even if we did it wouldn’t make a difference with us being so close to the tracks. Another bust was the hot tubs. We assumed they were shared which is no problem at all but the photo shows a somewhat designated hot tub area. The hot tubs are located on the bottom floor units balcony. The cabin we booked was the top floor cabin and unfortunately it was just extremely awkward to go to the hot tub that was below us, given the fact another guests back door was 5 ft away. Weird placement and just uncomfy. Maybe if you knew the guests below it would be better and less awkward. Ultimately we didn’t want to disrupt their vacation by us strangers being so close to their backdoor and privacy. Also, garbage wasn’t taken out before we arrived so cleaning crew should step it up. I hate writing reviews like this but hopefully it will help someone else decide on more of a relaxing getaway vs. a loud stressful one. Great idea with the cabins - poor location and layout. Thanks Michelle for helping us leave early!
