Vriendelijke ontvangst, maar kamer heeft zijn beperkingen: ligt onder het schuine dak, dus je kan alleen maar aan de deur rechtstaan. De gedeelde keuken met de andere gasten, meestal studenten is ook niet altijd even netjes … Parkeren in de straat als je geluk hebt.

No toilet paper provided - when asking, Mariana apologized and said to bring some the next day. The next evening we asked someone else (probably from the house, not a guest) where to find it. „This is not a hotel, you can buy some in the store.“ We texted Mariana again, since her first message seemed like it was rather mismanagement than just not included. Until we left (we stayed 3 nights) she didn‘t reply anymore.. only after check-out, she replied to another question but she didn‘t mention the toilet paper issue again. If she had communicated clearly and up front, I guess it would have been fine, but this behavior was very confusing because she was welcoming at check-in.. It‘s a simple house with very thin walls, so we could hear the phone call from the person next door and when people gather downstairs in the kitchen/on the terrasse to chat late at night, it‘s quite loud, too. Also, no trash can in the bathroom. Overall the stay was still okay.

Mariana is a lovely person who’s helping you from check in throughout your stay. She’s been very responsive and was here to welcome me, whilst I had driven from Sevilla through the storm. The house is to share between 5 rooms. The location is very close to the 25th of April bridge and the LX factory.

Mariana has been a very kind host. Very responsive from the booking time, to the moment I landed to Lissabon. She answered all my questions and gave tips too, while arrived. The location is well (30 min walk to Belem), with buses and trams at short distances. I only walked during the few days I was there. Uber is ideal from/to airport. Small groceries stores and restaurant/cafes can be found in the neighbourhood. I was there for a race, with finish line in Belem, hence this place was very good. Not that it is a bit of climbing to get there, like lots of Lissabon. 😁 Room is as described. Note the little window on the ceiling brings light early, so use an eye mask is bothered. Can hear the planes, but did not bothered me much. All amenities are available in the room. Shared the bathroom with one housemate on 1st floor, which was good. Kitchen is available and shared too, used it well. Housemates were very polite and nice. No extra noisy, which was appreciated. Recommended!

J'étais a une autre place (plus proche de mon travail) qui ne se passait pas très bien et j'ai demandé en urgence à Mariana (chez qui j'étais allée en septembre dernier), à la dernière minute, s'il était possible de m'héberger pour le reste de mon séjour. Elle a très gentilment accepté et a été super réactive, et j'ai pu trouver le soir même une chambre paisible, calme et propre, avec un petit radiateur qui m'a permis de me réchauffer en quelques minutes. J'ai eu beaucoup de chance que cette chambre soit disponible! La cuisine partagée est accueillante, avec un jardinet attenant parfait pour boire un verre en soirée, et il y a tout pour un petit séjour parfait. Mariana, et son locataire qui m'a accueillie le temps qu'elle arrive, ont vraiment tout fait pour m'aider, et m'ont sauvé mon séjour ! Merci encore Mariana, c'était top !
