My family and I enjoyed a long term stay at Catherine’s home. The house is incredibly clean and spacious. It is convenient to downtown Somerset and key shopping areas. Catherine is an excellent and responsive communicator. I definitely recommend this home to anyone traveling in Somerset!

Catherine is an excellent host. From scheduling the reservation thru departure. The house was everything that I expected. Very Clean, comfortable, centrally located and a fenced yard for pets. Catherine has really thought of everything-right down to the toilet paper holders that are so easy to use I'm looking for a few for my house. This was the perfect meeting spot for my family and I.

Catherine's place is very comfortable and inviting. Lots of sleeping room to have family and friends stay with you. The beds in the three bedrooms are comfortable - even the fold out sofa bed is comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked as are the (2) bathrooms. The place looks newly-renovated and has been done well. There's a beautiful front porch with plenty of room for drinks, hanging out or enjoying a beautiful evening. The front door stuck - probably needs to be planed - but locked well and was sturdy. The gas grill is nice on the back patio but ran out of propane after one use - easy fix though and we had the option to grill indoors on the stovetop griddle. The stove needed to be leveled but also an easy fix and Catherine said she would address it right away. Some of the towel racks weren't secured very well - all new but probably just not tightened enough. The master bedroom door was off kilter and needed new screws on the hinges, but we were able to fix it temporarily so it would close. Watch your entrance to the master bedroom as it has a step down and if you don't see it in the light you could step off wrong. Overall, we felt the place was very quiet and safe. The road out front is busy but the house is sound so it didn't really bother us. We had noisy partying neighbors one night out of the eight we stayed, but that happens wherever you are. It's a nice neighborhood and houses in the surrounding area are well-maintained. Catherine was very attentive making sure we were able to get in upon arrival. She also answered courteously and in a timely manner. We loved the location of Catherine's place as we were docking at Lees Ford Marina. ...about 20 minutes away. We were minutes from downtown Old Somerset which has breweries, restaurants and coffee shops. Not much shopping yet in Old Somerset but Rt. 27 is nearby and has everything you could want.....Kroger, fast food, liquor stores, etc. We had a great time at Catherine's place and will definitely stay there again! We would recommend Catherine's place to anyone looking for a well-maintained, comfortable place!
