A quiet neighborhood on the edge of the historic center. Just outside the restricted traffic zone. Very convenient for visiting the city even if you arrive by car.

The historic center of Florence is very small and if you want you can get around very well on foot. The B&B is located a 20-minute walk from the Cathedral and Brunelleschi's famous dome. The B&B is also 100 meters from a tram stop. The tram costs 1.70 euros. If you decide to use it, get off at Santa Maria Novella station and save 10 minutes on foot. From the station you still need to walk because the pedestrianized historic center begins.
Furthermore, if you want in Florence there is also a convenient bikesharing app, RideMovi. Florence is a perfect city for getting around by bicycle. There are no big climbs, everything is very close and you can leave your RideMovi bikes wherever you want. Afterwards the App will show you the bicycle closest to you.
I don't recommend buses however. They move out of the center. The first thing to do is cut through the center on foot. The only useful line is the 13. From the central station it takes you to Piazzale Michelangelo and then returns. The Piazzale is the famous panoramic point above the city and is the only destination slightly away on foot.
