You have full private use of our Country house and little slice of paradise in the Andalusian countryside. The property is a restored ruin which was originally built 400+ years ago. It is a 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom spacious villa set in a 6 acre, almost completely organic fruit and nut farm with beautiful mature gardens and a large private pool. We have a lot of beautiful shaded garden spaces to enjoy plus orchards of olive, orange, lemon, lime, almond, pomegranate, fig, plum, apricot and pistachio trees. Enjoy the idyllic peaceful rural retreat that is ‘el maestro’ . Wake up to sunshine, blue skies. magnificent views, fresh air, birdsong and take a slow wander through the gardens to our beautiful and secluded pool area. Having parked your car, you enter the front door to the house passing a covered outdoor terrace with two old olive millstones for tables offering probably the most spectacular views of the mountain scenery. There is a spacious bright hallway leading through to the large farmhouse kitchen with the study/office on your right. The office has a desk, two sofas and a flatscreen smart TV which has Netflix installed. This room has double doors that open out onto the front covered terrace and millstone dining area. The kitchen which is at the heart of the house is a large room with a fully equipped kitchen (including an industrial cooker), a dining table to seat 10+ and a couple of arm chairs for relaxing after dinner, or getting cosy in front of the fire housing a wood stove for the chillier days in winter. From the kitchen you can access the impressive circular living room up an attractive curved staircase. Also from the kitchen, the back patio/garden area can be accessed where there is a cosy covered dining area, another round millstone, a culinary herb garden as well as a lawned area(Unfenced) with lemon and orange trees. The comfortable and spacious circular living room has access to a huge roof terrace where there is a table and chairs for you to enjoy the sunshine, views and blue skies. There is also a bookshelf with local guide books and board games. There are two spacious twin bedrooms on the ground floor that share a bathroom with an accessible shower. One has a basin and tap and a bookcase with lots of reading material as well as double doors that open out to the front of the house. Upstairs is a light hallway with a central pillar and doors that lead to the large master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, two double bedrooms and a bathroom . The master bedroom has access to a large roof terrace with table and chairs with spectacular views and the other 2 double bedrooms have wraparound balconies and 180+ degree views over the whole valley. Fans are provided in all of the bedrooms. The pool is situated two minutes walk from the house down a pretty pathway and some steps. There is a gate which can be closed to stop small children wandering down there alone. It’s very private with great views in every direction. The pool is 12m x 3.5m so slightly longer than usual. The shallow end is 1.2m deep and the deep end is 2m. There is a pool house (caseta) housing sunloungers, cushions, a sink with running water, hooks for towels, a large cool box on wheels. We have sun loungers, a wooden round breeze house for al fresco dining by the pool and also a Moroccan table with 4 chairs.. This really is a lovely place to keep cool in the hot summer months as you can take a dip in the pool and there is always a lovely breeze. Below the swimming pool amongst the orchards you will see the padel tennis court. This is ours and you are welcome to use it at your leisure. It’s great fun and good exercise. The rackets and balls are under the stairs in the house and the court is left unlocked. The access is down the road and in through the second metal farm gate.
