The most idyllic cottage nestled in nature. The perfect weekend getaway to lounge in the pool and read books outside. We did not want to leave!!!!

Kathleen's house was the perfect place for a country retreat. We loved all the artwork on the walls and ceramics. The kitchen was great for cooking with some pantry staples. Make sure you bring some groceries, the only option in the neighborhood is a Dollar General. There is no microwave so keep that in mind, but there is a large toaster oven which can work as an air fryer. The beds were firm and comfortable and the wifi was fast! We loved the screened-in porch and were sad that it wasn't hot enough to lounge around in it all day.

I had a perfect stay at Kathleen's cottage. Everything was as described and so much charm! Photos don't do it justice. The setting was so tranquil and just what the doctor ordered for my two day getaway. My favorite part might have been just reading my book on the screened porch with my dog asleep at my feet, well, when we weren't playing frisbee in the fenced yard or exploring the rest of the property. There are neighbors close by but I didn't see them. I did enjoy watching their livestock and my dog enjoyed meeting the friendly neighbor dogs. Just be prepared to throw a ball for Abigail, the border collie. She's precious. Kathleen is a gracious host and very communicative. The place was spotless and had all of things you might want or forget. Loved my "mini-break" and hope to go back quite often.

Kathleen’s place was beautiful and extremely peaceful. The tub was to die for. Every morning I got up, made coffee, and hopped in that bad boy. This will forever be my place to come back to when I’m in town. Also the neighbor’s dog, Abigail, was wonderful, so sweet, and kept me entertained playing ball!

Had a great mid-Mardi Gras stay at Kathleen’s - we greatly enjoyed running away from the chaos in New Orleans for a couple days to unwind here. Space is amazing: Kathleen has great taste and we loved the art and furnishings. We just hung out, played ball with Abigail the neighbor’s dog who likes to visit, and enjoyed the beautiful space Kathleen has created. We will be back!
