The Emig Mansion is a skillfully restored 19th-century home providing the perfect setting for gracious hospitality and respite. Our guests find themselves transported back in time to a charming Victorian era in a home resplendent with exquisite leaded and stained glass windows, intricate moldings, original parquet floors and elegant marble tile work. Step back in time without forgoing modern amenities like WiFi, parking, local attractions, shopping, eateries, and a daily hearty breakfast! The Mansion has been used for many different purposes over the recent years and was discovered by a local realtor in the 1980s in a state of disrepair. Mary Llewellyn made the decision to save the Mansion and with great research and resources restored the home saving many of Edward’s improvements. The Mansion was opened as a bed and breakfast and has continued to operate as such to the present day. Common areas are restored to Victorian era feel, and our guests are welcomed to sit in the library, parlors, veranda, and the koi pond. Each room is named after one of the 11 Emig children, and the Master being that of Mother and Father. All rooms have their own bathrooms with five having ensuite bathrooms. Ask about the original beehive oven and the onsite jail!
