Great place to stay and beautiful heritage rooms. Bonus was that the castle was close by and easy walking distance. Meals were great.

What a gem! The room is absolutely stunning and has everything you could possibly need. Very comfortable, quiet and clean. I had dinner at the restaurant, Pattra's, the food was too good to even leave a crumb, absolutely delicious. The service was outstanding too and every customer is greeted with a smile and treated like a VIP. The location is perfect, just a stone's throw from the castle and a short walk to beach. This listing is such a good find and I highly recommend it.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. The team of folks who serve you at The Castle Cottage are THE BEST. The food is the best we’ve had in the UK (and we’ve eaten at Michelin restaurants). The room was charming, comfortable, clean, and quiet. You are steps from the castle and right in the village. We never touched the car from the moment we arrived until we left, two days later. Can’t praise highly enough!!!
