The only thing you are paying for is location. We reported an odor coming from the kitchen sink. We received no call back. Workers then came in the house early one morning while everyone was sleeping, without notice. Unacceptable. The house was filthy. Furniture was stained and had mold. The bathrooms had moldy shower heads. Everything in the house is dated and dinged up. The yard itself is gorgeous and the location on the beach is amazing. However, this filthy home isn't worth the price.

There is NO air conditioning, and you absolutely need it. For the price you would expect there to be A/C, and so we spent many sleepless nights sweating in our beds, even with the windows open and the fan on. Keeping the doors and windows open all the time had the unfortunate consequences of letting in many bugs, and making it feel less safe to sleep at night. There was an annoying ant infestation in the kitchen, living room, and downstairs bathroom, even though we rarely cooked and cleaned regularly. The communication was quick, though mostly they said there was nothing they could do to help with many issues, but at least they told us quickly (e.g. broken window, broken boogie board, etc). The location was amazing and wonderful. But ultimately not worth the price, given that the house was so muggy and buggy.

This was a DREAM HOME for our family. Spacious living, lots of hang out areas, incredible ocean view to wake up to. You cannot beat having Poipu beach literally right out your back door. Was also a kid friendly home and kid-friendly beach. We had 3 Monk Seals join us on the beach, went snorkeling every day, and got to see Sea Turtles and Dolphins! The home is super clean and the staff was friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we could need (and more). We’ll be back!
