Very private, serene location right by a beautiful brook and walking trails. The home was as described--cozy with a lot of character. It provided a great space for my siblings and I to have a little reunion. Overall, great value. I especially loved running up nearby East Hill Road into Harvey Mountain State Park--incredibly beautiful, peaceful, packed dirt roads. The kitchen, living room, dining area, and one bedroom are upstairs; the other two bedrooms are in more of a basement like area downstairs. The kitchen could use some updating and the place wasn't perfectly clean; the power is also a bit finicky; it surged several times and we had to flip the breaker switches. But Lisa was very communicative and responded quickly to any questions. On the whole, a great retreat in a super beautiful area.

We had a wonderful week at Lisa’s place. The house had everything g we needed, the beds were extremely comfortable. Gorgeous private location. Would definitely stay there again.

Lisa was an outstanding host. A regional power outage knocked the power out during our stay. She was quick to hook up a generator. She was extremely responsive and helpful despite the challenges. Great host!

Was extremely satisfied with the place, Lisa was very responsive and able to adjust to some last minute changes. We were initially in area just for a wedding, but hope to be back again in summer or fall. Creek was so peaceful and property beautiful. Hiked with a 3 year old and a 7 year old to two of the waterfalls. House had everything you needed. Would definitely recommend if you are in area or just looking for a nice relaxing getaway!
