This was our 2nd time visiting! So peaceful and beautiful! We will come back!
Mikey’s place was a wonderful place to get away! Remote and surrounded by water and sky. The house felt like home right away and had everything we needed. We spent mornings watching the waves with our tea and coffee, afternoons exploring the surrounding towns and areas, and evenings settling in to watch our show while the wind blew outside. It was a bit too windy to stroll the beach, but we enjoyed exploring Beaufort and Harker’s Island (and were able to catch the Island Express Ferry to Shackleford Banks and Cape Lookout on the least windy day). Be sure to check the weather and bring groceries!
Great place to stay! We saw cows when we took a walk on the public access beach. Keep in mind that it is quite secluded, so get your groceries before heading there
This place is amazing if you’re looking for somewhere peaceful to go! We absolutely loved it. We’ll be back!
