Wonderful place for traveling around Normandy. Perfect peaceful retreat away from the busier areas. Well suited our family of 4’s needs. 10/10 recommend and would stay again if given a chance. Thank you Vincent!

Vincent nous a accueilli de manière très sympathique. La maison est jolie et pleine de charme , bien décorée avec de nombreux objets anciens et de belles gravures . La petite ville de Grancamp est calme en hiver; nous sommes à deux pas de la mer et l'on peut rejoindre la pointe du Hoc à pied par le GR . Bayeux mérite une visite pour sa tapisserie exceptionnelle et ses monuments. On peut observer la nature (oiseaux et phoques ) au nord d'Isigny à la pointe de Brévands et à la réserve de Beauguillot un bon séjour trop court !

The house is very beautiful and very comfortable. It is immaculate and maintained to a high standard. The kitchen and rest of the house is well equipped. While the house is in a really central location just a very short walk to the beach, restaurants, bakery (closed Wednesdays) and restaurants/cafes, it is still a really quiet location. There is great market outside the door every Tuesday also. Grandcamp-Maisy is a central location for visiting all the numerous WW II memorials. Vincent is an excellent host and speaks very good English, he gave us a list of recommendations for areas/sites to visit outside of the WWII memorials also and none of them disappointed. I highly recommend the house for comfort, charm and location.
