This is a beautiful piece of property that provided a truly picturesque place to spend time with extended family. The private bedrooms are a plus! We felt like it could use a bit of TLC/repair work. Some doorknobs were loose; the front door was difficult to lock; the landscaping needed work. None of this impacted our enjoyment of the property, though. We loved the outdoor fireplace for roasting hotdogs and marshmallows, and the sunset over the field and the red barn was absolutely spectacular! We enjoyed the green space for outdoor games, and the swing and buggy were both a delight to all. The rooms are beautifully decorated, and the mansion itself is stunning. We found the attic a bit creepy but definitely an interesting piece of history! I would recommend this house for anyone looking for a peaceful weekend with beautiful scenery.

This was a beautiful venue that met our expectations for the occasion. There were issues with the plumbing that were corrected during our stay! Matthew was an amazing host and he made sure we had what we needed. The character and charm was top notch for the this mansion built in 1867. If you get the chance, it is worth the visit!

We truly enjoyed our stay at The Old Oaks Farm. The grounds were lovely, and the home was beautifully and comfortably furnished with everything we needed. It is an amazing home, and was perfect for our large group!
