We were in Austin for the eclipse, which was fantastic (5 stars). Matt is about to complete a major remodel of his place, which wasn’t quite finished while we were there. Because the remodel was still somewhat in progress, the place wasn’t as pictured and wasn’t clean everywhere, but I gave 5 stars anyway because this was a unique situation and I can tell this is really going to be an exceptional place when it’s done. Mike and his wife were fantastic hosts and tried to do everything they could to make us comfortable. The location is very quiet, a short drive to South Lamar. Highly recommend Radio Coffee & Beer a few blocks away for coffee in the morning and cocktails at night. Matt’s place will be perfect for large groups and events.

Went with my family for F1 weekend and Matt's placed worked just fine. Unit A was great but we had multiple problems with Unit B, the AC being the biggest one. It was 97-95 degrees every day in Austin and not having AC in that unit was quite uncomfortable. Unit B overall needed some updates and restock of items prior to guest arrival: we couldn't get the TVs to work, the garbage disposal didn't work, the patio area had loose boards that could be a hazard given that half the family members are in their early 60s, the patio/pool area required some cleaning, and we didn't seem to have basic items such as dishwasher soap or garbage bags. This is definitely more of a bachelor/bachelorette party house so next time we come for F1 we'll go for something more family friendly. Tons of potential but needs some upkeep.

This was the perfect place for a bachelor party. The house had everything we needed and the backyard was awesome. We had so much fun and Matt’s house definitely the secret to having a great Austin trip.

Really enjoyed our stay there. We had our Fantasy football draft. The setup is great for that. Look forward to coming back!

Matt has a nice spot close to all of the action. Quick 12 minute cab ride to restaurants and bars. Great amount of space for a larger group. Very comfortable accommodations. Thanks again Matt.
