This place has a great view of the river. Cleanliness can be worked upon and definitely needs a pest control. Felt like a Jurassic park of dead and live lizards in the bathroom. Caretaker is good and they cook amazing homely meals. We were slightly disappointed by the electricity cuts throughout the day especially during scorching summers with temperatures as high as 41 degrees. And being a container house doesn’t help. While the host has listed the electricity issue; we could’ve been saved by timely turning on the generator at least in the afternoon rather than waiting 4 hours for us to suffer before taking the call. But overall a decent experience.

We stayed at the Homestead with our two furry kids and came back with memories for a lifetime. Lalitaa is a Super Duper Host and her place is nothing short of paradise. She was super communicative and always available for answering any queries we had prior to our arrival. We had booked the cabin by the river and the moment we reached the property, we knew this was going to be one of a kind experience. The view, tranquility and privacy of this property is just breathtaking. Their care taker Sunil is a sweetheart when it comes to taking care of guests and their requirements. We enjoyed the river bed with our doggos, who have never seemed happier. Their swimming pool provided a good break from the sweltering October heat for us. There are many places that claim to be pet-friendly, but Lalitaa’s place is on another level.The energy of the place as well as the host and caretaker is like an unlimited resource of positivity. We came back with a wide grin on our faces. Simply Superb!

Really quiet place amidst nature!! Perfect place if you want to experience peace with the gushing sound of river. The place is clean and has all the quintessential things you would expect. Caretaker Mr. Sunil is really nice and responsive. The home cooked food is a must try.

"The Homestead" is very good for nature lovers , nicely located near a fully flowing river and covered with lots of trees and greenery all around. The rooms are very well maintained and the super tasty homely food was served by the super caring caretaker Sunil and his team of boys. The Homestead is very rustic , away from the maddening crowd which gives you loads of peace and tranquility around. The Host is very caring and ensures that the guests are well received and taken care off Kudos to Lalitaa Ma'am and her super efficient team for this "little gem" very close to Mumbai. Would love to come back soon. Note: If you are a bird and nature lover, you can't skip this place.

This place is out of a storybook! Peaceful,quiet,serene and just beautiful! If you are looking for a place far from the maddening crowd and the city , this is it! If you're someone who appreciates nature and its natural course and you don't sweat the small things then this is it! To top it off the food was just amazing and the caretaker Sunil is the sweetest person you will meet and along with his family they take very good care of you without encroaching on your privacy. Lalitaa is a wonderful host, quick to respond , very patient with all your questions and goes out of her way to make sure you're having a good time. They even surprised me with a cake when they came to know it was my birthday. We will definitely be coming back again and again!
