We loved our stay and Marcos's cabin. The views from the deck were amazing and it is a great location for exploring Bosque Estates Toro Negro and the surrounding mountains. The inside of the cabin is very spacious and a great place for a rustic weekend getaway. Marcos was also very friendly and answered all of our questions quickly. I definitely recommend a booking a stay if you are in the area.

The cabin was very spacious and tidy, with incredible views of the mountains. The surrounding area includes some great watering holes. Jayuya is a sweet little town. The highest peak in Puerto Rico is a few minutes away. Marcos was also very responsive as a host, and accommodating when we had a need. He has a grapefruit orchard right below the cabin. The only thing to consider is that the open windows (without glass or mosquito-netting), while allowing some great breezes to come in, also allowed mosquitos to travel into the bedrooms at night. Not sure if the time of year makes a difference. Fans are provided to help mitigate this. My husband and I were fine, but our daughter got pretty badly bitten up. Use the fans and some bug spray!
