The Sugar Shack is a new built cabin with a Rustic feel. It has a loft bedroom with a queen size bed and the best view of otter creek, crack the bedroom window and listen to the creek flow as you get a great night of rest. Enjoy your morning coffee on our screened in porch with your own personal propane fire pit. It has a full kitchen with all of your cookware including a Keurig. There is a gas grill on the front porch for all of your grilling needs. You walk into an adorable rustic style kitchen; a separate door leads you to the screened in porch. There is a full bathroom with a shower. The living room has large windows to get a full view of Otter Creek. There is a beautiful loft bedroom with a queen size bed that overlooks Otter Creek

What an amazing stay! We decided to take a last minute weekend trip and within minutes of booking Tiffany had reached out. She was extremely friendly and communicative with us in the days leading up to our stay, and especially during. The cabin we stayed at was clean, warm, and cozy — exactly what we were looking for. Seriously could not recommend Trailside Ranch more! We especially appreciated that Tiffany took time out of her weekend to come down and meet us. All around a great host and environment! Would absolutely come back in a heartbeat to check out the other cabins! Don’t hesitate to book — worth every penny! Unbeatable atmosphere and location!
Sugar shack ! Trail side ranch !! Where do I start !! If you are looking to completely disconnect from the outside craziness, this is your place ! No wifi/celll service , now don’t go crazy there is spots to check in with the family but very quickly run away from it again , haha ! From listening to the babbling Brook from any window in your cabin , to relaxing by the campfire at night or relaxing in the screened in rooms ! I don’t know another peaceful place other than heaven , because that’s what this place is ! You are right on all recreation trails of the ADK , horse , ATV/UTV, snowmobile ! The miles you can go are endless ! Our cabin had all we needed , all we brought was food and K-cups , the rest was there ! Perfect , Relaxing & Comfortable! Thank you for the wonderful time to connect to ourselves!
Wow! A beautiful cabin with everything you could possibly need while disconnecting! Comfy bed, peaceful screened in porch, lovely hosts I could go on and on about the Sugar Shack! We will definitely be booking again! Make sure you rent one of the side by sides! traveling through town going to breakfast/lunch/dinner has never been so much fun!
Very cozy and relaxing! Stayed for 5 days for our Babymoon, was exactly what we wanted. The location is very remote, no service or anything, which is great for a relaxing get-away. Would definitely stay again!
Our stay at the Sugar Shack was wonderful! The place is adorable and had everything we needed. We enjoyed our days of walking, swimming, and hanging out at the fire pit. Tiffany is everything you want in a host…responsive and super friendly. We have already made a reservation for next summer!

This family friendly ranch is located in Brantingham, NY, inside the Adirondack Park. Our ten acre off the grid ranch, is at the end of Partridgeville Road and the beginning of Paradise! Trailside Ranch is surrounded by the pristine 76,000-acre Independence River Wild Forest Preserve. We have several hiking trails right from the property, you can hike out to secluded lakes and enjoy all that nature has to offer. We are linked to 65 miles of Horse trails, hundreds of miles of Snowmobile trails and to the nearly 600 miles of ATV trails.
Our property has direct access from your cabin to the snowmobile and ATV trails. Ample parking on site for trucks and trailers.
ATV/SIDE BY SIDE RENTALS AVAILABLE ON SITE: Ask your hosts about renting one of their Side by Sides to ride through the beautiful trails of the Adirondacks, a ride to dinner or even to view some of the nearby waterfalls.
SNOWMOBILE RENTALS AVAILABLE ON SITE: Contact your host if you are interested in renting a snowmobile to explore the beautiful trails. We offer guided tours to take you through the beautiful winter scenery. Along the way, you can stop at many restaurants to get a warm meal as you enjoy the experience.
