The views were spectacular, worth the gravel road drive in and out of the neighborhood which takes a bit to get through (keep in mind if planning to leave the cabin often). The cabin was modern and spacious with everything you need. Beds were comfy and kitchen was fully equipped. The downstairs games were super nice. The hot tub needed cleaning as the water was dirty; some of the jets didn’t work and it’s showing a bit of age. Overall cleaning could improve (ie downstairs deck including dining table and chairs looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a while, trash from previous guests were visible when looking over the edge of the balcony). Regardless of this, the views more than make up for it and highly recommend.

It definitely has some wear and tear - specifically within the kitchen. Additionally, kitchen had minimal pots and plans, and has a Keurig but no pods. Nor coffee maker so plan accordingly. The accommodations however (beds, bathroom, etc) are 5 stars. Also, the last 15-20 minutes is up a windy, single, very rocky dirt road. The driveway is also incredibly steep. But the view is so worth it!

Southern Comforts listing was a great stay , I was amazed that a cabin can look that nice and modern . We enjoyed our stay there , only a few minor issues with some bathroom doors not being able to lock & you can’t find the location on the GPS other than that very very beautiful stay that made up for the minor issues .

Booked this Cabin for a Birthday trip Dec. 8th weekend and everyone loved it! The Birthday man was shocked how nice and modern it looked. I used Waze to get to the property and it got us there perfectly fine. The driveway is extremely steep, but I was able to get up easily in a 12 to 15 passenger vehicle. There’s also someone available to talk to 24 hrs in the event you get lost, forgot the code, etc. Definitely should book this property for your next Cabin Adventure!

pros: unmatched views and gorgeous house. nicely decorated. cons: there were maintenance issues like door handle missing, hot tub wasn't very clean, a lot of kitchen plates, bowls were broken and chipped, the utensils were dirty. the single lane, 2 mile gravel/mud road to get to the property was difficult to drive in the rain. the driveway was also difficult to drive up.
