We felt right at home in Mark's lovingly restored 1920s-era adobe-style home. It was clean, charming, and convenient to just about anywhere. Although it may not look like it from the pictures, this is one spacious home. We had such a great stay that we would love to return with our kids and their partners one day. Nitpick: While the landscaping all around the home seems to have been a casualty of the renovation, the outside ambiance could be easily rectified with a little greenery.

Would absolutely come back! Mark was great and the place is fantastic! Walking distance to everything you need in and around UNM.

Overall, a very good place to stay especially if you need to be at UNM! My colleagues and I were there for a conference and had an enjoyable time. Great Things: -Bathroom close to every room. -Beds were comfortable and linen was appropriate for the NM weather -Very cute and historic house w/ beautiful decor -Very homey and comfortable especially for a group of 3 people or more that need separate living spaces -Host was responsive and was flexible when he could be which we really appreciate -Walkable to UNM, Smiths grocery store, and more Things To Be Better: -There were a couple roaches, but that comes with the terrain of the south. Besides that & a few little things, I felt the place was clean and I come from the Hotel Industry. -Stocking the Kitchen w/ salt, spices, and other appliances (we would’ve loved a blender & rice cooker if possible) -The dryer and garbage disposable took a long time w/ their respective functions. Overall, would 100% stay here again! Thank you!

Mark was so helpful with answering our questions about local recommendations and even let us check in early, which was extra handy! The house was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed to make dinners. My only complaint, but for me it was a big one was the cockroaches. We found at least one in every room in the house. Mark did say that they will sometimes come into the house after yard work is done. Maybe that’s typical for the area, but for us it was very unpleasant and definitely made the stay less than ideal.

Everything was great, no issues! One of our guests accidentally left a bag and Mark reached out to get it sorted, which was much appreciated.
