We loved our stay in Ojai! The location was great and the house was fantastic - it was clean, spacious, private, and well-stocked, and we loved having the pool and tennis court. We would definitely book it again!

This property is even more beautiful in person. It is so relaxing and completely fenced in so our puppy enjoyed the visit as well. The tennis court was fantastic and even had a ball machine. The waterfall feature made the pool relaxing for everyone. Every part of the property has been thoughtfully designed. Plenty of extra towels and a huge laundry room. I wish we could have stayed longer and we can't wait to return.

I wish I could give Sheila and her ranchette 10 stars. Given the price, our expectations were high, and this place exceeded them. It is truly perfect. The house itself is spacious, elegant and very comfortable. Every detail is thoughtful. The pool zone has the feel of one's very own boutique hotel, and the hot tub is the perfect way to end the day. The outdoor shower under the big, mature palm, was also a favorite. The location cannot be beat. It's a quick walk into Meiners Oaks, a short bike ride or drive into downtown ojai, and a 15 min walk or 5 min drive into the preserve area which has miles of beautiful hiking trails. Sheila also went above and beyond as a host. She is kind and communicative, and was always quick to answer questions. I hope to come back someday!

This is an amazing house, I had such a great time. Best house I’ve rented on Air B&B. Book it if you need a great house in a chill and quiet town. Tennis court, pool, hot tub, and good vibes.

Our multi-generational family had a wonderful stay at the Humestead to celebrate the holidays. Sheila was very communicative and a fantastic host. This house is a hidden treasure and we all hope to visit again in the future!
