The Cow Barn is a beautiful lodge in an incredible setting. The space is beautifully furnished and was spotless. The kitchen was very well stocked with crockery, glassware and utensils. On arrival we were delighted to find a lovely welcome package with some local provisions. Fran and Andy were very welcoming and super responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend The Cow Barn.

Excellent short break at Fran and Andy’s. A peaceful location to switch off, we even had a barn owl join us for breakfast one morning which the kids loved!

We had a lovely few days at Green End Farm. The barn was beautiful furnished with a well equipped kitchen. The dining table was a great space for board games. The location is excellent, peaceful with good walks on your doorstep. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Great location for both walking and exploring the Yorkshire coastline and towns. The cottage is well designed (we stayed in the cowshed), beautifully furnished with all essentials provided for a great self catering cottage. We will definitely be back. Fran & Andy were welcoming and provided some great advise and guidance for exploring the surrounding area.

The Cow Barn was a great retreat for a long weekend away with my husband and two children (6 & 8). Very clean, with everything we needed, we were made to feel right at home by Andy & Fran who were in contact whenever we needed them. The surrounding were beautiful and very secluded, which is exactly what we wanted. The location was great, only around 20mins from Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay etc. The local walks looked great, but were a bit too muddy at this time of year to have a go! I would not hesitate to recommend the Cow Barn and would love visit again.
