Our meticulously clean and inviting one bedroom cottage is beautifully furnished and is the perfect place for a romantic getaway or a spot to escape to and relax with family or friends. A large patio offers a firepit, dry wood, hard top screened in gazebo for outdoor dining, and gas grill. We offer a seasonal red neck (stock tank) pool. Pool is open from Memorial Day until end of September. A cook your own breakfast is also included! Welcome! This is where city meets country living! When you walk through the door of this little cottage, you will instantly feel the world melt away. I’m not sure what it is, but there is something special about it. This cottage is about sanctuary, relaxation, and peace. Please take a couple a couple of minutes to familiarize yourself with the property. But first... ***A special note for our city friends*** We are in the middle of almost nowhere, you may find that cell phone coverage may vary. If you find your coverage is spotty, stepping onto the front or back porch may resolve the issue. Internet is provided by Starlink, which is satellite. On rainy or even cloudy days the signal may also be spotty. For meal preparation you will find a full size double refrigerator/freezer with filtered water and ice, microwave oven, large countertop oven (large enough to bake a cake or small chicken), two burner countertop stove, large electric skillet, non-stick griddle and all the pots, pans and baking/cooking supplies you need. Upon request, we can also provide you with a blender, crockpot, Instant Pot, or electric kettle. Out back on the patio, you will find large stainless propane grill with a burner. Propane is included. All the grilling tools and skewers are provided and are hanging on the side of the grill. BREAKFAST ANYONE?! We use Krusteaz's pancake mix. It is so easy; you just add water! By far, it is the best mix we have ever found. In the refrigerator you will find a dozen eggs, unopened packages of cheese, real bacon bits, OJ, milk, and a stick of real butter. A Keurig coffee maker, coffee pods, and creamers are also provided (one pod per day per adult. ENTERTAINMENT For indoor fun, there is an extensive library of over 300 DVS's. You will also find many board games, card games a deck of regular games, puzzles, grown-up coloring books, crayons and even watercolor paints (for the adults). For younger children there are a few toys, children's coloring and activity books and children's books. Outdoor activities available are: two regulation size corn hole games, and several other family friendly games. You will find these games in the bedroom closet. During the warmer months, a unique and novel way to cool off is the stock tank soaking pool aka redneck soaking pool! Check out the pictures or go online, if you are not familiar with them. It's just a nice way to cool off, relax and maybe share a drink with some friends. ** Filters and chemicals are checked before each guest's arrival.
