The Treehouse was pretty nice. It was clean and quiet which was nice, but we noticed a lot of inconsistencies between the listing and the actual property and rules. I would not have booked this place had I known all of this. I'll just list them here: 1. the air conditioner did not work and this was not communicated to us. There isn't central air, there are 2 built in wall units that would not turn on at all. I sent a message our first afternoon, but it was so hot and muggy I didn't fall asleep at all the first night. the next day a repair man came to fix the washer and dryer (which I also wasn't told we're out of commission) and looked at it, but was unable to fix it. there was a floor unit that we rolled into the middle of the kitchen that worked OK, but was bulky and in the way of the sink and counter. 2. the second bedroom does not have a queen bed like the listing says, it is a full bed. Maybe not a big deal for some, but my partner and I a both really tall so we go out of our way to book places with queen or king beds. 3. there is no air mattress like the listing said. My mom and brother had to share a bed. 4. the listing brags an outdoor fireplace on the balcony and shows a picture of chopped wood next to it, implying guests can use it. We were told we were not allowed to use it as part of out check-in info after booking. 5. the listing says breakfast is included, it was not. 6. the listing says there's a blow dryer, there was not. Again this place was not the worst, but it was not cheap. I would not have booked it had I known there was no AC, no air mattress, and no fires allowed.

The Tree House provided such a relaxing setting for a weekend away with friends. It was close to shopping and restaurants in Ann Arbor, yet far enough away from the busyness. Starting the day on the deck with a cup of tea or coffee was lovely. I would have appreciated the outdoor area being cleaned a bit more to provide more options to enjoy the beautiful surrounding woods. The central air included wall units that were not efficient in cooling down the space on a hot day. The owner was quick to respond to communication.

This is a really cool property in a great location! We had an issue with the AC and the owner was VERY responsive and while we couldn’t fix it that night, did right by giving us a partial refund and resolved the issue after we left. Overall a very cool space to enjoy Ann Arbor. Perfect for our two couples.

The Tree House was comfortable and secluded, yet close to campus and downtown. We worked remotely here for two weeks and found the internet to be fast and the office a great work space.

This is a good place for the people from metro areas.. gives a calm and nice experience surrounded with trees.However, I found it bit pricey for 4 guests stay!
