This unit is our second 2 Bedroom unit with master bedroom overlooking the gulf. It is a larger unit, sleeps 6 and has a washer/dryer inside the unit. There is no road to pass, we are directly on the beach. This is a no smoking facility, smoking is not allowed inside the unit or on the balcony. Resort has the eviction power for those who do not follow the rules. Smoking is only allowed at two designated locations at the Resort. We do not offer any military or other discounts. Applicable last minute specials are already built-in to the daily rates. PETS are not allowed per the HOA (no matter how small). We do not have snowbird monthly rates. We provide a 20-30% discount for stays longer than 28 days. This discount is already built into the rate you see when you go to “pay now”. Pelican Beach Resort is an ideal family resort located in the heart of beautiful Destin, right on the beach. Perfect getaway for your family! It is conveniently located, only 2,5 miles from the HarborWalk Village and few minutes away from the shops, restaurants, golf clubs and bars. Water & adventure park, Big Kahuna's is located right across the street. The Resort has free garage parking, heated indoor and outdoor pools, kiddie pool, hot tub, fitness center, sauna and steam room, beach services, beachside Tiki Bar, video game room, tennis courts and outdoor grills. We provide a pack n' play for kids. This 16th floor condo is decorated in an eclectic style, both serving for modern and coastal traditional taste. We offer a combination Keurig and Regular coffee brewing machine as seen in the listing pictures. Please bring coffee and filters. Highly recommend that you rent chairs and umbrella from the beach vendor well in advance. We provide their contact info so you can reserve your space and be close to the water. Pelican Beach is very popular and has a compact beach that usually gets full very fast. There is no check-in or check-out at the lobby. You simply go to the condo, enter the door code and make yourself at home. Stop at Reception only to register (where they check the age requirements), get a parking pass and resort bracelets (during March-October) and sign off of the rules and regulations for the Resort. Please note that maximum of 6 people can register and stay per unit. Our check-in is at 4pm, Check-out is at 10 am. Since you directly go to the unit with your assigned door code, there is no deadline for checking in. You may check-in any time after 4 PM of the check-in day, just like you would at your own vacation home. If you arrive early, feel free to enter into the resort, register at the front desk and get your parking pass and pool bracelets and enjoy the beach and the pools. You could easily bake or cook your favorites, if you would wish to enjoy the kitchen with a view. Dining table seats 5, bar stools seat 3 additional. Free access to thousands of movies, shows and TV series on Netflix through the TV's both in the living room and the bedrooms. Our condo has a key-less entry door lock system, so you do not have to keep up with any keys during your stay. Your vacation should be relaxing; no more lock outs or lost keys. You will also have the opportunity to create your own unique code that "you" select for your stay. We offer a complimentary welcome package. Startup supply of toilet papers, hand soap in both bathrooms and kitchen, dish liquid, dish sponge, dishwasher tablets, in the kitchen. There are no fixed phones in the unit, however cell phone reception is very good for major carriers. Guests can access the pools, gym, hot tubs, sauna, sweat room, the beach and everything Pelican Beach Resort offers. We provide beach chairs and umbrella but you can only place them behind the rental chairs during March-October. If you prefer front seats, we recommend renting beach chairs from the beach. We give our guests privacy and we are only a phone call away. We are right on the beach and very close to many attractions. Destin Marina is only couple miles away. Big Kahuna's water park is across the street. Lot's of restaurants within walking distance. Closeby grocery stores etc. a car is recommended but it is not necessary to enjoy the many things Pelican Beach Resort offers.
