This house is located in an ideal situation in terms of proximity to the beach (a minute walk!), and only takes around 10 minutes to drive into the township/ shops. It is spacious and has an appealing layout and is modern. However, some damage was apparent, with no blind in the formal sitting room (broken on floor on our arrival), damaged seats in the main living area, a very dirty and dilapidated BBQ and a rather damaged main dining table. It was a little disappointing that the house, whilst basically clean, was not thoroughly clean, especially noticeable with respect to the main floor areas. On the positive side, other than a lack of drinking glasses, most necessary items were provided and the house was ideal for a shared family holiday, as we had. Overall, this is a well-located and very suitable holiday house, which would benefit from a little more TLC!

We have a lovely 4 night stay at Gary’s house. He was very pleasant to deal with, and quick to respond. The location was absolutely fantastic, with the surf beach just down the street, a 3-4 minute walk. We did have a situation with the dishwater, it wouldn’t drain and had a foul smell. Under the sink was flooded (already had a bowl to catch the drips) so we had to mop that up. My husband who is tradesman investigated and found the pipes were blocked. It took 3 hours to pull it apart, clear the pipes and put it back together which fixed the problem. I let Gary know and he was very apologetic and offered a late check out which we did not end up using as when you have kids, it’s up and out early! Some compensation for my husband’s time (a small discount ) would have been appreciated as to call out a tradesman would have cost a lot more! Toilet was cracked and water pressure abysmal but overall we enjoyed our stay and Gary was very responsive and easy to deal with! Thanks!

It was a nice, open place. Easy walking distance to the beach and great to have a washing machine available.
