This is an extremely difficult property to rate. The unit itself is superlative! Nicely decorated, all the conveniences. Everything works fine. It is fantastic to be in the heart of the old city. But … it is very noisy at night, as in the noise is loud enough to keep you from sleeping. There are several bars in close proximity and people gather outside of them and even right in front of the apartment. It was possible to sleep in the back bedroom with the bedroom door closed, but essentially it was impractical to sleep in the room with the window facing the street. It is so unfortunate because the unit and host have everything else to highly recommend themselves.

Laura’s apartment is amazingly decorated and we found all the amenities we needed like spare pillows and kitchenware. The location is absolutely superb; right in the heart of old town with plenty of restaurants, shops and bars nearby. Laura even supplied really helpful guides on travel in the area that were super handy, and local places to visit. Sadly the intensity and frequency of crowds outside the apartment were not described. We found large crowds every evening would block the entrance to the building - which were rather intimidating. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Bilbao

We loved Laura's airbnb. Great location in the old city and plenty of room. Also very well stocked and Laura met us at the address and gave us a personal introductionto the place. She also booked a taxi when we left.
