Couldn’t have asked for a more stunningly beautiful location. Glengarriff is lovely and the house is just next to the bay. House location and the stunning views from the house are unbeatable.

We had a lovely stay. The photos don't do this house/property justice. It's a beautiful house in a picturesque location. The only issue we had was that the WIFI didn't work.

We had a lovely stay in this house in Glengarriff. The surroundings, approach and garden of the makjes you feel like you are in rainforest somewhere. The view onto the bay is spectacular and even better when you head down to the seafront which is directly accessed from the garden. The house has lots of space with all the bedrooms being large and having en-suites. The area is really sheltered and it never seemed to be windy at all. We kayaked on the water a few times during our stay which was great fun and a real highlight of the trip. Glengarriff and surrounds are beautiful and the food trucks at Quills were a great addition to the town - particularly Revel Coffee! The heating is great (if needed) and water pressure and temperature fantastic. Large washing machine and dryer and wifi works very well (TV is a bit old mind!). However, there were a few issues that need to be addressed for a property of this price and class: - The house was quite musty when we arrived and needed airing. Better ventilation and a refreshing of some parts needed. A lot of the presses throughout were very musty. - Carpets in two bedrooms were quite stained and old and some of the walls in the corridor etc look tired and need a refresh. - Personal touch: Covid mentioned but the lack of a small welcome pack does not give a good impression when you arrive in after a long journey.

The pictures really don't do this very special place justice; Right on the waterfront surrounded by incredibly lush Gardens and plants.. It certainly didn't feel like we were in Glengarriff! Less than a 10 minute walk into Glengarriff town and access yo Bamboo Park (directly next door!) and the Garnish Island tours (highly recommend!!) Truly a really special location - Ideal to wind down and relax
