Very much enjoyed our stay. The apartment was easy to locate and accurately matched the photos. Appreciated having some things like dish soap etc available. Particularly favourable comments from the family members re. the water pressure in the showers! We only used the kitchen to cook one breakfast (hadn’t planned to cook at all but figured the fresh bread John had left deserved it). It was fully stocked with everything you could need.

Second time we've been this year it's that lovely. View is hard to beat from John's apartment and he provides little extras like coffee pods and a great freshly baked Wheaten on arrival. Dundrum itself is a fantastic village with several great places to eat and a friendly pub with beer garden if you fancy a drink. Everything is handy, all makes for a perfect relaxing get away.

This is a lovely apartment, clean, comfortable and ideally situated, having great views over the water with the Mourne Mountains in the background. There are two convenience stores in easy walking distance, and parking is just a few yards from the front door. John provided everything we needed for our stay, was proactive with communication and answered messages quickly. We were happy to find a full-sized fridge-freezer, washer and dryer (which we didn't intend to use, right up to the point our daughter fell over in some mud, at which point it became essential), plenty of pillows, spare towels etc. Like others, I'll mention the home-baked bread, and a nice touch was providing us with some Creme Eggs, being that it was Easter. I'll also say that despite the very chilly weather, the apartment was warm and comfortable. I'd have no hesitation in staying here again, and would recommend it to others.

Lovely location. Lots of wonderful scenery and very quiet. John was an excellent and responsive host. Lots of lovely personal touches and a welcome note along with a pleasant surprise for us when we arrived. The apartment had everything we could possibly need for a relaxing stay. Thank you John for providing such a wonderful dog friendly location. We can't wait to come back.

John was a great host, his apartment was lovely, clean and warm for us getting there. It had everything we needed along with an outstanding view of the Mournes. Couldn't have asked for more.
