An amazing house and a stunning location, this was all we hoped it would be and more. The mountain views from the terrace and pool were spectacular and we were happy to simply sit and soak up the surroundings. An easy drive to Rethymno and other sites on the north coast, but also an enjoyable drive to the stunning beaches on the south coast. Sadly no restaurants in walking distance, but that is the price you pay for the location. The house was very well equipped, most importantly it had an espresso machine, so catering at home was no problem and meant we made the most of the views.

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt in den Bergen, umgeben vom Glockengebimmel der Ziegen und dem Gesang der Vögel. Es hätte nicht schöner sein können. Es gab Platz um sich auszubreiten, zu entspannen, gemeinsam zu kochen, einfach schön. Ich bin ganz beseelt. War nicht leicht diesen Ort wieder zu verlassen.

Of all the places we have stayed in our 50+ years of travel, Limeri Villa was our favorite setting. Every morning we sat on the deck with our tea, watched the sun come up over the mountains and the circling hawks, listened to the bells and bleating of goats and sheep, smelled the sweet, fresh Cretan air. At night we joined locals for wonderful meals and conversation at the nearby tavernas. Afternoons we headed to a Minoan site, an ancient monastery or a beautiful beach but always gratefully returned to our serene, off the beaten path home. For two weeks, we felt lucky to be a part of its simpler, quieter world.

Very nice and space villa, with a stunning view from there terrace, very quiet and peaceful, nice pool. Just over five minutes from the nearest village where one can eat typical Creta food in a "Taverna", and shop for basic needs. Well paved roads lead to gorges for good hiking, picturesque villages beaches or Rethymno. The information provided was very useful for getting around and renting a vehicle. We will certainly come back with more time to see more of the wonderful west of Crete and for exploring Chania and surroundings. Thank you very much we had a wonderful stay.

The villa was gorgeously situated in the mountains - it was the perfect, secluded spot for a relaxing getaway. I would recommend the villa for groups wishing to unwind and enjoy nature. Rethymno and local beaches were also easily reachable by car. We really appreciated the cleaning staff who came in multiple times during our stay; they kept the place pristine without disturbing us.
