Everything was as listed. Location is perfect. Very short walk to the beach. Great space for two people. Would stay again.

I hesitate to write a poor review . . . but, I left four days early because the place was just not convenient. The location is great, but the stay was very uncomfortable. There is a door on the inside hallway with a sign that says to keep locked for safety. I kept it locked but that is apparently where the shared washer/dryer is located. I felt a dampness in the air 100% of the time. I live in Florida and even on the beach until recently. That kind of moisture inside is not normal. I think the building is old and should be torn down and something modern built. If you want to feel like you are on vacation, this is not the place.

TL:DR amazing location is the only reason this stay wasn’t a 1 star. Greeted with the nice sounds of construction every morning around 6am. Rental had a constant mildew/dingy smell the whole time. Curtain rod for the front door was taped on so if the door closed a little too abrupt the curtain would fall and you’d have to carefully stick it back on the door to have any privacy. If there are other guests in the other units be prepared to hear every conversation or loud foot steps from above or the side and you’ll have to compete for the washer/dryer unit between the other guests. Very minimal bedding included with the stay (and by minimal I mean 1 or 2 sheets and a decorative mattress cover). Biggest redeeming quality of this specific unit was the location in the fact it was a less than 5 minute walk to the beach. Otherwise I’d recommend a different unit or a hotel for the price and fees.

This was our second stay with Duncan and it was just as great as the first! (Spent a week in the other side of this same stay in June 2022) Everything was exactly what is portrayed and what we expected. The place itself is cleanly, simple, and all you need plus an amazing bonus space with a hot tub and string lights. Perfect for evenings after dinner for relaxing in a tropical, private, backyard aesthetic. They offer a handful of amenities with the backyard space as well as a grill and extra beach equipment (all in good shape for use). It’s a two minute walk to the beach (you literally just cross the road and are there) as well as a 5-7 minute walk to a lively street/strip area. Lots to eat and drink, music to listen to, dock to walk, ice-cream; all so close and outlined in a binder left for references. During all communication the hosts were responsive, friendly, respectful, and reliable. Said it last year and will say it again: We loved staying with Duncan and will be back. :)
