Jayashree was a considerable and friendly host. We were late for checking in but she kept following up and ensured the dinner is packed and well served when we arrive late. The villa has a great view, is at a peaceful location and an amazing balcony that can accommodate a huge group and foster bonding . The villa is very well maintained with right aesthetics and high regard for cleanliness and hygiene. It is also well equipped with required electronics (TV, Refrigerator, Microwave, Kettle etc). The caretakers are soft and well spoken always willing to help. Overall a fantastic and one of the most memorable stays! I would highly recommend Jayashree and this villa for anyone planning a family / large group trip to Kodaikanal - it's worth every bit!

It was an amazing experience staying at Shangarila villa. This is one of the best scenic location we stayed at Kodaikanal. While the location is 25 minutes car drive from the main area but if you are looking for perfect blend of nature and comfort and looking for peaceful surroundings and you dont mind if clouds come to your balcony then you must have a stay experience at this property. We family of 6 including a dog and a infant baby had a great time here. Host Jayashree was great and very responsive and so caring for us that before checkin she noted our time of arrival and our food preferences for our dinner. Caretaker at property will take care of all your needs, since markets here gets closed early so you have to place your requests to him in afternoon so that required arrangements can be done for night. Do ask for their delicacy “mutton curry”wheneva you are staying at the place. Caretaker at property knows only Tamil but very accommodative in understanding your needs.

Best BNB in Kodaikanal. one can book this property without giving a single thought. The view is breathtaking. Host and Caretaker both were very active.

The location of the property was serene and stay was even more comfortable thanks to the caretakers and the host. Made us at home quite comfortable. The food provided was extremely good along with the property which was pristine neat. Easily could accommodate 5 families and would definitely recommend anyone for what's it worth. Keep up the good work and thanks for having us.
