Willie was an excellent host, he gave us great info on the area about walks, local history and places to eat & visit, he has a lovely home which was very clean and had lovely fresh flowers and an amazing welcome pack, the kitchen was well equipped, the beds were really comfortable and we couldn’t have asked for more

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Sona House, which is very stylish, comfortable and well-equipped. The location, fresh flowers throughout the house and the sight and sounds of the attractive stream at the back were all great. Willie is a wonderful host offering a warm welcome and very helpful suggestions and advice. Thank you!

I can confirm other reviews, Willie was a great host. The additional touches, such as cut flowers, milk etc was a thoughtful touch and beyond the norm Some great restaurants within a short drive. Local hotel was good too. Seeing the cairns and standing stones was a nice surprise, As we did not know about them beforehand. Great stay and our thanks to Willie ( and the dog)

Willie is the ideal host, friendly, honest and nothing is too much trouble. My family and I would would no doubt have enjoyed the weekend in such a beautiful house and location but Willie’s knowledge of the surrounding are and recommendations helped us to maximise our time there. The house is big enough for family and quiet time and situated right next to a babbling burn with a great outdoor area. The bedrooms are palatial and it is an absolute pleasure to spend time in such a great space. It feels like a home from home and Willie could not have been more accommodating whenever we reached out to him for advice and pointers. Loads of walks on your doorstep which are steeped in history and good food and drinks in the local hotel which is a 2 minute walk from the house. You will love your time at Sona House.

What a find! A new, modern house in a beautiful neighborhood! The house is nicely decorated with luxurious carpets upstairs. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs, all are en-suite and very comfy beds with 5* linen. House was very clean and well maintained. Full COVID-19 precautions (hand sanitizers in every room, ect.) were applied. Willie (our host) was just wonderful and replied instantly helping with anything we needed. We had an incredible stay and look forward to coming back!
