The Quiet Mountain Cabin, nestled in Colorado's stunning scenery, is a serene and cozy retreat perfect for family getaways. Its well-stocked kitchen is ideal for those who love to cook, and guests are advised to purchase groceries in advance as there are no nearby restaurants. The cabin offers a variety of kids' games and excellent TV access, ensuring entertainment for all ages. Its warm and inviting atmosphere serves as a wonderful base for exploring the natural beauty of nearby Breckenridge and Keystone, with the added charm of wildlife sightings. A delightful stop at the Alma General Store enhances the experience. We absolutely loved our stay at this cabin, which offers a truly comfortable and immersive mountain experience.

I will jump on the "amazing views" bandwagon. The pictures DO NOT do it justice. Also, our boys loved the huge property to go "exploring" without having to drive to an overcrowded hiking trail. If we are ever back in the area, we will definitely be staying here again!

The cabin is very cute and cozy. We used the wood burning stove each day and it was extremely easy to use. They provided fire starter, newspaper, and the wood! If you keep the pot on the stove filled with water, the steam will create the necessary humidity to keep you toasty in cool weather! Watching snow fall in the morning and seeing the surroundings covered in a blanket of snow was magical. Definitely have AWD/4WD outside of the summer months as the home is accessible by an uphill, unpaved road. Friendly heads up - Jefferson is a very small town so it would be best to pick up your groceries before coming in! Overall, it was a great stay with pretty views.
