Michele and Ed are warm, friendly, and hospitable hosts and I would definitely return to Paradise Cottage any time of year. Everything you’d want and more you didn’t even think of (a printer, for example) is there and easy to find. The guest booklet with instructions is highly detailed. I loved that I could bring my dog and he was welcome in the cottage while I attended classes at JCCFS a quick 3 minute drive away. I appreciated the extra touches for dog owners, including towels for wiping off muddy paws and sheets to cover the sofa and/or bed if you wish to have your pup up. The outdoor spaces are wonderful as well and I took many of my meals out on the covered gazebo by the river. It was quiet in the neighborhood while I was there (early May). Thank you, Michele and Ed!

It’s a beautiful place to stay. I will continue to book for all my visits to Murphy. Michele and Ed are very down to earth people. My wife and I enjoy them as much as their cottage.

My family and I spent a wonderful week at Paradise Cottage. The cottage is fully equipped to spend as little or as much time as you desire. The neighborhood is especially quiet and the beautiful Hiwassee River is literally steps from the front door. During our time there we had nearly daily arrivals of ducks and geese enjoying the river. It's ideally located for hiking both NC and north GA. Overall an excellent place to relax or recharge in the beautiful mountains of NC. Thanks.

my friend and I had a great week with my pup at Michele's place. perfect for nice walks along the beautiful Hiawassee River, very well stocked with everything we needed, and very close to the John C Campbell Folk School where we were taking a class. couldn’t have been better. thanks Michele!
