This is the 2nd time we have stayed at Jennet's house and it is perfect for us - a beautiful house with lovely furnishings and recently upgraded kitchen. The log burner, conservatory and garden all make this a wonderful place to relax and the beds are super comfy. We went for a lovely walk from the house up the valley beyond the viaduct as recommended by Jennet and it was so picturesque and peaceful. We'd love to come back again and explore more of the area. Thanks again for letting us stay 😁.
Jennet's place is beautiful and special. We had a wonderful stay. The place was spotless with a well stocked kitchen. It's perfectly located for exploring waterfall country and relaxing in front of the log burner at the end of a long day of walking. We really really loved it and I'm sure we'll be coming back.
We had a lovely stay in the barn. It was comfortable and was perfect for a 2 night stay. It's well placed for the four waterfalls walk and we also drove to Brecon easily. Jennet was really helpful and provided clear instructions. I would recommend staying here!
This was our third stay here, we love it. Its such a beautiful cottage, with a lovely private garden. Lots of space for dogs inside and out. Its also very comfortable, Jennet is a great and left firewood and welsh cakes for us. The cottage has a beautiful kitchen with brand new fixtures and everything we needed. Thanks for hosting us again.
The cottage is in a semi-rural location near to the ex-coal mining village of Glynneath with its traditional terraced streets and chapels.
There is parking for two cars within the garden area. The nearest train station is in Neath with regular trains to London and West Wales. Buses run every hour between Neath and Glynneath.
自我介绍
I grew up in the adjoining farmhouse and returned to live in South Wales some 10 years ago. As a child, Yr Hen Stabl was used as a hay barn and stable and the garden was a paddock. I now live in the Upper Swansea Valley about 10 minutes away so am on hand to resolve any problems. As a keen walker with a love of antiques, history and architecture I can advise on walks, places to eat, local antique markets and sites of interest.
