Je suis très étonnée du précédent avis. En effet nous avons passé 2 semaines en août. D’excellentes vacances. Jamie et Sam ont réussi à créer une maison avec toutes les commodités, du confort, du luxe le tout Écologique. La maison et les installations sont faites pour 6 personnes max. Nous étions 5. vu que nous avons respecté les consignes, nous n’avons manqué de rien, ni eau ni elec. On est entouré de végétaux fabuleux, citronnier, cactus, figuier et j’en passe. Jamie était à notre dispo pour tout nos besoins au cours du séjour et nous a proposé de se déplacer si nécessaire à plusieurs reprises. La maison et son immense jardin sont parfait pour se relaxer et se couper du monde en plein milieu de la nature. Nous avons pu profiter des piscines naturelles dans la rivière à 15min, de la piste cyclable à 200m et des jolies villages des alentours. Un lieux de vacances privilégiés pour les amoureux de la nature et du calme.

De location, the house are very beautiful and Jamie has done a beautiful job with his place. That being said, his 6KW solar installation is to small since everything excepting the gas stove is connected to it and Jamie charges his car on it the same system. We had a group of 9 (including 4 kids) during 6 days and 7 people during 6 days. It is clear that Jamie does not want to rent out his house but does it out of necessity, he is very controlling and untrusting, sending us messages about our energy consumption, falsely accusing us of attaching portable airconditioning, switching of lights during visits.. I would not be surprised if he has hidden camera's in the house. We could only wash our clothes with cold water, we had complaints that our kids where playing in the pool (because of the low capacity pump).. We payed 3000€ for 12 nights and for this we did not have a relaxing holiday, to the contrary. It is fit for 4 people maximum and should be advertised for adults only.

We had a very pleasant stay. Great surroundings combined with a welcome digital detox. The house is completely off grid, but has all conveniences we could expect like a dishwasher, washing machine, bluetooth sound system, nice kitchen. In real the house is better than the pictures!

Jamie’s house was great for our family of 4. Although it is off grid everything was good and functional. We used the pool a lot when the weather was too hot to do much more. We cooked many meals, which we enjoyed very much in the verandah. A great place to get away from the business of life and work.
