it was a relief to be there for us. We left a horrible hotel in Carlsbad NM that was already paid for and booked this at the last minute. it is a charming older Spanish style home. We were super happy the bathroom was updated and clean. We used the front room because that bed even though smaller was comfortable. We really needed a good night sleep and this place delivered. There are so many places to eat within walking distance which made it nice. If you are a TV person and you like good sound, large screens and lots of options, you will enjoy their set up. The couch is comfortable too. I fell asleep on it. I recommend this home for anyone visiting the area and you need a good night's rest and want to be in this area. Great host!

We had a truly wonderful stay at this charming house! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed with the cleanliness and attention to detail. The host went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, providing a welcome basket filled with snacks and local recommendations that really helped us explore the area. The house itself is beautifully decorated, spacious, and equipped with all the modern amenities you could ask for, including a fully functional kitchen and a cozy living area. The bedrooms were luxurious and comfortable, offering a perfect night's sleep after our days out. The garden was a delightful retreat, beautifully maintained, making it a perfect spot for morning coffee or a relaxing evening. This house is an excellent mix of historic architecture and modern amenities. We loved the Southwest style of the home, as well as the outdoor spaces: a covered porch and a large patio. The house is modern and comfortable, with a comfy sectional and a memory-foam mattress in the primary bedroom. We appreciated the walk-in shower and well-stocked bathroom, with fluffy towels, lots of bath products and a hair dryer. The kitchen was well-stocked with supplies, including filtered water in the fridge and a first-aid kit. Just be aware that the only coffee pot is a French press, and instructions are not provided. Coffee is provided however, which is a nice touch. The host was helpful in recommending nearby restaurants: Ardovino's Pizza is fantastic. And it's a short 10-minute drive downtown. Highly recommend!
