This is a nice place right on the lake - beautiful! Parking was easy, neighbor was friendly, kitchen was well-equipped, lots of places to congregate both inside and outside. Clean-up at check-out required was minimal - no long list of things to do, just clean the dishes. The bedrooms and one of the bathroom were a bit small, stairs steep and narrow, and the musty smell took a little getting used to. Note that it does not have a dishwasher, and but the water pressure was strong and plenty of hot water. It could use some more light in the living room. We would come back again for a great lakefront vacation! (Our daughter wanted to buy it!)

We had a wonderful, peaceful fall weekend! The location on the lake was beautiful and the house was clean and cozy! We would definitely recommend this home for your visit, and we hope to be able to stay here again!

We had a wonderful time at Gone Fishing! and cannot wait to return. We immediately felt at home. The setting is quiet and illdylic, without being too remote. We loved the architecture--there was so much light, contemporary yet retro. We barbequed, watched the sunset and even even completed the state of Vermont puzzle on the coffee table. It was perfect!

This was a great summer place to stay right on the lake and enjoy the peaceful setting. Beautiful views, gorgeous sunsets and great location for walking. The place was clean and the kitchen was well equipped with anything you could want for fixing meals there! We will definitely be back!!!!!
