威明顿 · 整套小木屋 · 4室7床2.0卫 · 可住7人 · Peaceful Cabin Perfect for All Seasons
A little blue gem hidden in hills of Southern Vermont. This 4-bedroom, 1.75-bath cabin places you just 7.4 miles from Mount Snow, 2.5 miles from the Haystack Mountain Trail, and 2 miles from the Wilmington Village Historic District. Whether you're discovering an assortment of hiking trails, enjoying a historic walk in Bennington, soaking up the summer sun on the Harriman Reservoir, hitting the winter slopes, or admiring the beauty of a vibrant New England autumn, you will love your stay here! The main level has a mudroom with laundry, a remodeled kitchen, living room with a red wood stove, open dining room, bedroom (queen), and a bathroom (w/shower). The second level hosts three additional bedrooms (one full, one bunked twins, and one queen) and a bath (w/tub). The exterior features relaxing front and back decks. Please note that our cabin is non-smoking (both inside and outside on the property).
We stayed one week at Tarah's cabin (3 adults + baby) and absolutely loved it. It's spacious, clean and well organized, with all the amenities. Tarah was a great communicator and a great host, we would definitely stay at her place again.
Our stay was great! About 15 minutes from mount snow. The house was clean, all the cabinets and drawers in the kitchen are labeled for easy use. Host was easy to contact. Would definitely stay again. Thank you!
This is our second time staying at the cabin! We love the fireplace, open kitchen, comfortable beds and peaceful neighborhood. Tarah is a pleasure to communicate with and will take great care of you.
Tarah’s place made for a wonderful family getaway. While we had hoped to get more ski days in, we’re ended having amazing quality time watching movies, eating popcorn and being cozy in front of the fire, dry from the rain. The house is very well stocked to where we made dinner in most evenings. Tarah even had a sweet welcome gift for us. We absolutely loved her place and wouldn’t hesitate to book again! Thanks Tarah!
Our family of four spent Thanksgiving here curled up in front of the wood-burning drive and cooking meals in the well-equipped kitchen. The cabin is classic Vermont—rustic and super cozy, set in the woods but very close to Wilmington’s Main Street. Tarah was fantastic—she even checked in beforehand to tell us that everything we’d need to cook the big meal was available—and very responsive. We will absolutely be coming back. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
The property is located in lower Chimney Hill on a quiet road and tucked on the corner lot. There are three other houses partially viewable through the trees (in the summer/fall). This property offers peace and moderate seclusion, just up the hill from Harriman Reservoir and just a short drive to several great hikes, downtown Wilmington, Mt. Snow, and other local favorites. Our cabin has all the modern amenities and is very close to town, but it is a rural space, meaning you may see bears, our friendly woodchuck, or little deer mice (remember to keep the door closed to keep those extra guests out!)
The best way to get around is definitely by car. If you are driving during the winter, it's highly recommended that your vehicle have all-wheel drive, four-wheel drive, and/or winter tires. If you are caravanning, it's possible to leave the smaller vehicles in a lot (please message us for more information upon booking).
You'll want to check out some of our favorite places, including Bartleby's Books in Wilmington, Sticky Fingers Bakery in Dover, Hogback Mountain Country Store in Marlboro, Adams Reservoir in Woodford, and Old First Congregational Church in Bennington (where Robert Frost is buried), among others. Or for a real getaway, check out highlights less than an hour drive including Stratton Mountain Resort, Bromley Mountain Ski Resort, Magic Mountain Ski Area, Hildene: The Lincoln Family Home, Hamilton Falls, Brattleboro Farmer's Market, or other Vermont treasures.
There are several guidebooks that have been created for your convenience. If you are unable to view them on Airbnb, please message us and we'll forward them to you!
自我介绍
When not working or goofing off in DC, I'm trying to get as much hiking and nature in as possible. I have a teensy obsession with national parks, and I have zero chill when there's an interpretive plaque to read. We recently bought a cabin in Vermont that we love to visit and are happy to share with folks when we can't be there.
