We were both very pleased with Bradenton Hideaway. Our niece, husband and son joined us on the lanai for lunch. Everyone was happy to be there.

Lovely stay.. everything as advertised.. Julie very responsive to my inquiry. The dock was peaceful.. and saw lots of wildlife.

The property was cute and be well kept. It is located on the river so you'll have fairly immediate access to the water, along with some pretty great views from the dock. The location is near plenty of shops to get what you need while also being very close to several other outdoor recreational areas for all sorts of activities. My issues were as follows: - there was a smell of mildew in the property that prevailed throughout my stay. It didn't ruin the experience but it was unpleasant. - there wasn't an easy place to launch kayaks from. The dock was well above the water, so I had to shimmy down the bank with a kayak to get into the water . It was a bit precarious. - there was a Keurig but not coffee pods. I didn't realize this immediately and had to run out to get coffee pods the next morning before I could have a cup. There were a number of dogs roaming around the neighborhood as well. They all appeared to be friendly and I like dogs, so nbd, but could be a concern for some folks.
