Beautiful place on the beach. The house does shake/sway a bit with the wind and general movement, but so do other houses built on stilts in the area. The movement feels like being on a cruise ship on a calm day at sea or at port. Overall, we loved our stay. For those looking to getting a golf cart rental for your stay, I would not recommend it for this property. The only way to get a golf cart on to the beach is via side streets off highway 87, but the law does not allow driving of golf carts on the highway. There is a side street just one block to the east, so it's close, but technically no LEGAL way to get golf cart from the house on to the beach.

This is our 2nd time visiting Tony's place and will definitely return whenever we visit Crystal Beach. The house is beautiful and located right on the Gulf. We enjoyed listening to the waves from the amazing deck while we sipped our coffee. The house is extremely clean, stocked with the essentials, and has a bunch of games to play. We love the quiet location and peaceful atmosphere! Highly recommend!

Could not have asked for a better Airbnb. This house is located on the beach right at the edge of the ocean. One thing I will add is that the owner did install a privacy fence on the deck to screen from the neighbor’s view and the wind which was really nice. The house was extremely comfortable. We liked to sit either inside or outside and watch the ocean. From the kitchen island, you can look upon the ocean and see out on two whole sides of the house. Could not get a better view anywhere. Porch is great for taking photos of the sunrise, sunset, and birds. House was fully stocked and was spacious. Thick Tommy Bahama towels and enough toilet paper! Decorated in a fresh light and peaceful color palette with an open floor plan. Pics on Airbnb are accurate to what you will get. Washer and dryer worked great. TV streaming and internet worked well. A short drive and ferry ride to Galveston. Could not have had a more relaxing place, and we would definitely rent this Airbnb again.

My husband and I chose to celebrate Thanksgiving on Bolivar Peninsula with our dear 93 year old friend, Jonathan. Tony was extremely helpful and thoughtful from start to finish, as we solidified our plans, and during our holiday stay in his beautiful home. Naturally, organizing a trip with our older friend, Jonathan, and his long-time dog companion, Pancho, brought up many detailed questions about accessibility, safety, etc. Tony was wonderfully communicative and accommodating throughout the entire process. Both Jonathan and Pancho were able to navigate the stairs and beach access very well. Nightlights throughout the house were helpful also. Tony's home is elegantly appointed (I prefer it's neutral decor to "beach themed" homes). The house has absolutely stunning open ocean views, and allows for the enjoyment of both sunrise and sunset from the generous covered front porch. The kitchen is well equipped with high quality wares and we were able to set a beautiful Thanksgiving table.

We have stayed at many Airbnb’s and this was our absolute favorite! The location is spectacular with breathtaking views and sunsets. Tony was a friendly and helpful host. The house is roomy and clean, has cozy beds, linens and all the essentials. We can’t wait to stay here again!
