Lovely lakeside stay at Dionne's place in Goughs Bay. The location is perfect, with the lake across the road and the spa with fantastic views across the lake - exactly as pictured. We spent a lot of time on the deck and indeed 'living the dream.' The house was well equipped for our group of three, though the bedrooms were a little on the tight side. However, we spent most of our time out of doors, so that was not a problem. The house is probably due for a little bit of a freshen up - everything in working order, but some paint touch-ups needed. The air-conditioning was also good (it was mid-30s every day we were there) and we could walk to the General Store for an icecream. Dionne was an amazing host, friendly responsive and even lent us kayaks to paddle in the lake across the road. Amazing. Well situated and supplied for a relaxing time enjoying the lake and surrounds.

Terrific location, walking distance to general store. Very comfortable beds. Kitchen has everything you need & more. Communication from Dionne was very responsive.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Everything was well thought out and the attention to detail was perfect. We spent hours in the spa and found ourselves outside for most of our stay. Beds were absolutely beautiful and comfy. Kitchen was well equipped with quality items that made cooking a breeze. Definitely a slice of paradise it was so peaceful and we enjoyed the wildlife coming to visit.
