Large comfortable room (with bathroom) with VIEW ON THE ODER. Ecological house (wood, straw, earth) built by us, a French family. The calm and proximity to WILD NATURE will allow you to rest and recharge your batteries. On the border between Germany and Poland, our place is a CULTURAL CROSSROADS rich in history ... A summer kitchen (open space in nature) is available from 1 June to 31 September. At your disposal: The outdoor terraces overlooking the forest and on the banks of the Oder, the large glazed dining room and the winter garden, as well as 6 ha of garden (forest, orchard, meadows). In the bedroom is a private shower and sink. The toilets are in the hallway, shared with other travelers. INFO: the accommodation is not suitable for children under 4 years of age.

John and Sandie’s place was simply amazing! We had breakfast and dinner offered, so it was very comfortable and easy! The house is marvellous and there’s lots to explore in the area. We’ll surely be back soon! :) Thanks a lot!
Een waar paradijs wat ze gemaakt hebben. Helaas waren we er maar een paar dagen. Als we ooit in de buurt zijn blijven we zeker wat langer.

We had a splendid time at the place. The hosting family is lovely and good company. They liked to spend an occasional evening together but also let you alone. The house is very unique since they built it themselves and has cozy atmosphere to it. And the breakfast is made with so much devotion and warmth, it was a piece of art every time! The place is kind of remote but if thats what you like it‘s perfect. Thanks for the time!
Sehr liebe und angenehme Menschen. Wunderschön, natürliches Haus mit vielen Details. Entspannte, ruhige, idyllische Lage. Super zum relaxen oder auch Ausflüge in die Natur zu unternehmen und das untere Odertal zu Fuß, mit dem Kanu oder dem Rad zu erkunden. Die Räume sind gemütlich, die Atmosphäre sehr entspannt und das Frühstück ein absolut liebevoll zubereitetes Highlight. Für uns war die Anreise aus Berlin mit dem Zug nach Schwedt und von dort 30 Minuten mit den eigenen Rädern sehr entspannt. Alles super und gerne wieder :)

Situated on the bank of the Oder, Zaton Dolna is a old fisherman's village. It consists today of 25 houses surrounded by forest. The village is within the zone of the Cedynia landscape park and in the « Natura 2000 » zone incorporating " The Valley of love ", an historic park which hosts very beautiful musical matinees and soirees amongst the immense trees. On the other side of the river, the German national park " Unteres Odertal " is particularly reccommended for hikes, cycling, canoeing or on foot.
There are 2 small café-restaurants. The nearest shops are a few kilometers away. The nearest train station is in Schwedt (8km).
The city of Schwedt / Oder is 15min away by car, 1/2 an hour by bike, or 1 hour on foot. There's a railway station with trains to Berlin every hour (every two hours on Sundays). We can pick you up at the station for 15 euros per journey.
