This is definitely one of the most unique places I stayed in. We had the whole compound to ourselves with my group. There is art everywhere even the swimming pool is an art-piece, and most of all the view of the mountains surrounding the property is stunning. The buildings are all different colors with beautiful surroundings and well kept, the bungalows have hot water, the conference room is well-equipped, everything worked perfectly and the internet was great, especially for Peru. They don't have air conditioning but we didn't miss it, the temperature was mild at night and all the buildings are open and well ventilated. I loved the outdoor temple where we had a delicious BBQ under the stars, organized by the hosts. The hosts were very welcoming, they live on another part of the property, 5 minutes away but they are available if needed and very discreet. The place is isolated, there is no supermarket close by, so I asked them if they could cook for us, and they happily did, they are very accommodating. I had some of the best meals I had in a long time, everything was fresh and homemade. They also offered to go grocery shopping for us, but the food was so good that I asked them to cook for our whole stay. I felt very privileged to be able to experience such a place and share it with my group. Thank you again for offering such a special place in every way. You call it a Shangri-la and I agree. We will be back for sure.
