we have stayed at the inn before and loved it! there was some issues this time, new owner , covid and miscommunication made for a bumpy start. the host kerri did fix and change and work it out. we would definitely return

We loved the setting of this cabin nested in a rustic mill setting in this quaint town. Even though it was raining during our entire stay, we could see how lush and beautiful the pond and river would be to enjoy on a sunny day. The cabin itself was clean and spacious which was perfect for our young kids.

Cute cabin and the river is gorgeous. Really nice to sit on the balcony and listen to the river and bull frogs. I was a little disappointed in the location, as, based on the description, I thought this was a secluded cabin on 25 acres of land. Instead, there are multiple buildings (inns?) right next door and it is in front of a venue tent. That said, if you aren’t going expecting seclusion, it’s a lovely stay and is super close to spots to eat.

Beware not to reserve this lodging when there's an event going on next door at the Inn! The photos are very deceiving, making it appear that this building stands away from any others, but that is not the case at all. The waterfall is nice, but cannot be heard over the traffic from a busy intersection, and loud music from events at the Inn. We booked in January 2021, and last minute the other host called to cancel, saying it was a mistake and they have overlap with a wedding. Well... they had all those months to figure that out and not leave us without lodging on a Friday night! The only communication we had from Ed was on time while we were booking this place, otherwise he never answered any of our texts, and we only had one phone call from the other host. Since the lodging was never actually canceled on Airbnb, we went there, having heard nothing further, and were told that everything was full! Only after lengthy discussion did the innkeeper unlock the lodging and let us in. That was only the beginning, as we found the place filthy, not vacuumed in a very long time, dirt and food on the floors, dirty towels and mud in the washer, filthy appliances, and no AC, all of which we have pics of. It smelled like mildew, and we couldn't open the windows due to the loud wedding music next door, and many of the windows had no screens. It does have a deck overlooking the river, but like everything in this place, it was in poor condition, and nothing we could use given the event at the Inn. This lodging is like an apartment over a garage, lots of stairs, so if you have problems with stairs this is not the place to stay. Both AC and breakfast are listed on the post, yet neither were provided. There were also few dishes to do any real cooking. It seemed clear enough that this lodging is listed both by the Inn and Airbnb, which is how mistakes are made. The area is beautiful, and this could be a nice lodging, but not the way it is at present.
