Awesome location! Very private with spectacular views. The cabin is very secluded and peaceful. We spent a lot of time watching the wildlife from the porch and deck. The binoculars and telescopes helped out a lot in getting close views. The kids also loved watching the humming birds feed at the feeder. There were some bugs in the house, but it’s to be expected based on the type of rustic cabin it is as well as where it’s located. The kitchen has a lot of what you need. Many spices have been left as well as other common ingredients. Lots of cooking utensils as well so don’t be afraid to cook a full meal. Overall we were very happy with our stay. The views are just like the pictures!
The location is magical. It’s a rustic cabin no doubt but it adds to the charm of the location and experience. Provided plenty of bath supplies, spices, kitchen cooking tools, made our stay a breeze!!
The experience was overall negative for my brother and I. There were dozens of bugs in the home, several crawling on my brother in his sleep. The house did not feel, or smell clean. Several things were broken. Most everything very outdated. The TV did not work (though that was not a big deal for us). The view was stunning and location was good. That is what helped with the experience. With some work, the place could be amazing, but I believe it will take some investing into the property.
The value of the home is not worth it. The only positive in this place is the night sky and the backyard view. Upon entry we noticed mice and/or rats 🐀 prevalent. I have pictures of left over food shredded from mice, paper towels shredded from mice, trash on the outside of the home. Also, there was no Internet available. We had to call the property management system to have it fixed during our vacation. The TV was archaic and did not have many sound options. Dirty dishes were left at the home. It looks as though the house has not had a good deep clean for at least three years.
